Hot on the heels of being found in the UK, the complete code number list for the Halo Mega Bloks Series 5 Blind Bags Hero Packs have been determined. These blind bags are MEGA Brands product #96978. The codes embossed on on the backs of the Series 5 Mystery Packs and may be different when these figures start to arrive in America, so we’ll update this post once Halo Mega Bloks Series 5 Hero Packs are found in the United States. Thanks to the great people over at SpartanBloks for breaking the news on these codes!
New to this Series 5 of Halo Blind Bags are mystery figures not shown on the bags or the insert inside of each bag. So far blue and brown Active Camo Spartans have been found, although it’s possible that other variants exist. Also new in the Halo Mega Bloks Series 5 Hero Packs is the Shotgun that comes with the Green Spartan and Cobalt Marine.

Halo Mega Bloks Mystery Packs Series 5 have just started hitting stores in the United States a little earlier this month. So far Wal-Mart seems to be the store getting them most frequently, and your best bet for finding them soon!

I found series 3 in Walmart for $2.50 a piece . and at Walgreens i found a series 5 Yellow Marine for $3.00 (USE WALMART)

The first sightings of Halo Mega Bloks Series 5 were actually in England, but the series hasn’t become widespread there or even in America yet. Hopefully sometime soon, but there’s no telling for certain when the wave will have become widely-distributed.

We are a UK retailer and we have had very good stocks of the figures arrive today! they will be listed on our UK eBay site under the trading name Safari Island today. We can confirm that in 90% of cases the mystery figure code is A13 but in 10% the Code has switched to A16 which contains an Active Red Spartan. Most of our rare figures are pre sold but some will go on eBay at buy it now prices.
Where do see the code? I mean on the package itself?
The codes are embossed onto the side on the back of the package. They’re not printed–you have to look carefully to see and read the codes, but they’re on every package.

I found an A16052MM – one in a fresh box. By feel (gun), I’m guessing this is the translucent blue mystery figure.
A15052 is the Red Active Camo Spartan.
I picked up a couple for my boys at Walmart in El Cajon, CA. It seems They the numbers are slightly different. I think the numbers may be different from US to UK.

sylvantrails codes worked today for the flood from the same set and sotre I bought the elite and grunt from.
One looked like the flood code but when I opened it it was the pink figure, not a flood, it was semi-double printed and was not the flood.
These are really rare in asia, found a shop that sells series 5, finally. But they cost around us$5.50 a pack. Never realized mega bloxs did codes, so i went the feeling way and felt out a arctic spartan and the green spartan. Found the pink flight one too, but i did not really like the colours and got the white one instead. I will try and see if these codes hold true in asia… But at that price its hard to justify collecting them all.

Yep, MEGA Brands is on to us. The newest shipments of Halo Mega Bloks Series 5 have all-new code numbers. We’ll add the new codes to the list as they’re reported!
So I went to my local Fred Meyer’s and found what appears to be part of the new batch or just the batch local to my area here in the NorthWest. I Copied down the codes and matched them up with the character models. I was only able to find 6 different ones but here is what I have:

To add to my most recent list, I tried out a Walmart today and only had the luck to find 1 new code.
A10070MM – Flood Combat Form [RARE]
Now this version (A***72MM) seems to have its own color differences separate from the series 5.5 which has its own iterations from the regular series 5. Having found both the (A***32MM) and the (A***72MM) versions of the flood form, I have found that they actually hold 2 different colors for the infected part of the figurine. The (32) version has a much more beige color to it while the (72) version is more of a rusty grey-brown mix. Personally I’m more of a fan of the darker (72) version vs. the (32) one, but its personal opinion and it doesn’t appear to be anything other than a simple color change not the type of plastic itself.
I tried out a couple more stores in my area with not much luck. The only places that I know of that carry the different mystery packs is Fred Meyer, Toys R Us, Target, and Walmart but it might just be a North West thing. Walmart and Fred Meyer seem to more up to date with the newer series as they were the only places I was able to find a wider selection of the Series 5. Target (as a multipurpose store) seems to have a harder time selling its mystery packs since both of the ones I have been too still have a few Series 3 and 4. There was 1 Series 5.5 but again that is only 1 and of course it was a simple grunt. Toys R Us I was a little disappointed in. Having found almost off of my Series 4 at these stores, (mind you I had to do quite a bit of store jumping to collect all of them, mainly for the Cortana figure) I was hoping to find a wider range of Series 5 or 5.5 product in store. Now this is only the experience of 1 Toys R Us however, I find it hard to believe that they held no Series 5 figures at all. I mean, considering the fact that they have exclusive deals with Mega Bloks to sell a certain product only in their stores you would think that they have broader availability. I understand that this is a retail store and that this isn’t their high ticket items, but I would have hoped for a little more as toys is what they are meant to sell.
I might try some other locations for these stores and see what I come up with but with other people out there trying to find these figures and only a limited number of the [Rare] items, I’m not quit as hopeful as I was for my Cortana figure. Currently I have a complete set of Series 3, Series 4, and the above mentioned Series 5. I’m not really sure about how to find the Series 1 and 2 sets, as I started late of the mystery pack bandwagon, without having to pay for either an expensive bundle or hoping for luck and buy them individually online and most likely get duplicates of the common ones. Either way I’m going to be paying a good chunk of money but it’s not like Mega Bloks hasn’t already taken loadsamoney ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON-7v4qnHP8 ).

Interesting. I picked up a series 5 today and was more than a little surprised to find an assortment of translucent blue and olive drab parts. It had two figurines in it – the basic garden variety Spartan and a blue active camo with beamer rifle. Code is A16072MM

I opened a pack today at my WM and it came with the green Spartan and the blue active camo Spartan in the same pack. The code was A16072MM.
I just bought some series 5 packs and checked the codes. Pink Spartan Ultra Rare A11012MM, code was mostly cut off. Found in the U.S. @ Walmart
Just grabbed 3 packs of series 5 from my local walmart in ny. Didn’t recognize the codes so I grabbed the 3 there was only one each of. Ended up with a pink air assualt, flood combat, and clear red Spartan and needler WITH a second regular green Spartan inside as well!! Is this something new? Getting a bonus regular Spartan with the clear chase figures? Also, the “brick” is a flat, clear red piece. The bonus Spartan doesn’t include his typical black brick.

Yesterday went to Walgreens across the street from my work and found 2 new numbers I didn’t have. This was a different set of numbers. My Walmart was all sold out. A10052MM was Flood Combat Form. A09052MM is Arctic UNSC CQB. These numbers seem to match a Guide I found for Series 5.5 packs…though i have yet to see those I’ve only seen Series 5. Other numbers seem to be commons Similar numbers as -82 endings but now -52 ending. Unfortunately no ultra rares or mysteries.
!Walgreens has packs for 3.49 us Bit pricier. Luckily had 2 doubles from Walmart so just gonna return my unopened doubles, so I end up getting them for Walmart price which ia less. Is there no way to post pics or is it against the rules?

I dont see it anywhere but would guess its the Flood Combat Form which is a rare I think. Someone above said he got 10070 but then says he got -72 ending series. I’d feel up the bag dor the weird head or arm.

i just have realized that the code numbers are arranged like the higher the code the rarer the figure u will get. the chances u have is to look at higher codes and feeling them at the same time.also notice the common codes in the back
Found 5.5series at Target for first time. Before I was only finding series 5, but in Walmart and Walgreens. Have yet to find series 5 in any Targets. price at Target’s 2.99, so not too bad. Would be better if they had a sale. Lessee…1 Target had loads of series 3, 1 pack of series 4, and around 15 packs of 5.5. I haven’t started on series 3. May do so later if once I finish series 5. Same deal with series 4(but I do have 3 of the commons only). This Target had no ultra rares or mystery, tho there was maybe 1 or 2 rares. Another Target had no series 4, bunch of series 3 again and just 5 or so packs of series 5. Again, nothing but commons. Mind u, since I dont collect series 3, I didnt bother with their numbers. 1 Target price of series 3 was high at 3.54, which also has its own unique target sku. Another Target had same packs for 3.09. Weird. Rest were all 2.99. Series 4 and 5.5 and even the Power Rangers blind packs have the same exact Target skus so u could buy 1 series and return a different one as long as its unopened. Haven’t hit any TRUs yet. Basically 2 Walmarts, 2 Walgreens, and 2 Targets.

Found Blue Active Camo Spartan. A16052MM. Came with a 2nd figure-UNSC Green Spartan that didnt have a block. Had read about this happening to others be it Blue or Red. The Blue Active had a thin stand in translucent blue to match. Also found the Pink UNSC Air Assault Spartan. A11052MM. That day was a good day Both were at a different Walgreens down the street a few miles from the other one I found the rares. Still looking for Red Active and Brown Active. Just checked all the packs in the one box on the shelf.

Hadn’t found any new Halo series 5, so been not getting anything except started on a few series 3 when I can find some. But went to 4 new Walgreens today. First one netted me a double of the Pink Spartan(A11052) and Blue Camo Spartan(A16052) which coincidentally were the same exact numbers as what I posted above when I got my first set of these guys(haven’t opened them). Only this time both figures were at 1 Walgreens. Then it was a miss on any ultra rares on 2nd Walgreens. 3rd Walgreens netted 1 Red Active Camo Spartan(A15052). Yay! Needed this one. Now alls I need is the Brown Camo and I’m fully setted. 4th Walgreens NADA. I opened the Red Camo and sure enough, a double figure of the Green Spartan without a block. Red one came with a thin red stand.
Oh. Before the Red Camo, I found a lone series 5.5 pack at a Target I had went to before, and while before there was NADA, somehow a lone pack must have been found and put back on the pegs as it was the Code for the Black EVA. Awesome! He is a great figure. So snatched and bought him posthaste. Will post number in a bit. Misplaced package somewhere.

ya. it’s weird. only seen at targets. was thinking I would never see them. seems target has mainly 5.5 rather than just 5. I’ve only seen like 1-2 packs of 5 at target. rest have been mainly 5.5.

finally found my misplaced list. Black EVA for series 5.5 was same as my piink air assault for series 5. A11052M. Have not seen many series 5.5 packs since. If I do they are usually commons. Have found more Pinks but not the Black EVA.

I hit both Wal-Marts in town for unmolested boxes of series 6 and each one had the lime green ac elite. I have been lucky getting the ac Spartans except not one brown one. I have four each of blue and red. Oh, and picked up Master Chief with cryo chamber. Nice!

Yay! After weeks of not finding the Brown Active Camo…stumbled on him by accident. He is 12072 which I didn’t see listed. Thought it was another pink but saw pink was 11072 so thought there was a chance. my set is conplete!
Oh. It did come with an extra Green Spartan with no block. Found him at my local Target. Been checking the last 2-3 weekends. Funny didn’t see him last week so must of put a few more out. Also got another extra Pink Air Assault at same time. Didn’t see any other mystery fig codes. This was a series 5 pack Think saw 1-2 series 5.5 packs and like 10-15 series 5 packs spread abput.
