I’ve been busy all week at work, but today I’ve finally got a chance to dig in and really begin construction on the Halo Mega Bloks Covenant Seraph I received Monday from BigBadToyStore!
I’ve barely gotten the pieces out of the box, but wanted to share some early photos and impressions…
First thing I noticed removing the Covenant Seraph from the box was that the instruction booklet is a freaking monster. No, seriously–it’s larger than most calendars. If you really love Halo Mega Bloks, you may want to consider pinning it to the wall and turning the page every month. But seriously–the instruction booklet is huge.
For comparison’s sake, I took this photo of the instruction booklet next to a Mark VI Orange Spartan and the new Brute Chopper from the Brute Chieftain Charge set (review coming soon!). Before beginning construction on the Seraph, make sure you have a sizable open space to do the building in. You’ll need it.
Two things immediately struck me as I opened the bags for the set: 1) The Covenant Seraph includes the flight-stand I’ve been dreaming of since the Phantom came out; and 2) There’s no sticker sheet anywhere to be seen. I utterly loathe decals in my toy construction sets, but I’ve gotten so used to seeing them in my Halo Mega Bloks construction sets…
More photos and comments to follow as I continue to build the Halo Mega Bloks Covenant Seraph 97015, in anticipation of the full review coming soon…
can you do a more clear picture of the instructons codes please!!!
Probably! Can you clarify what you mean by the “instruction codes”? Are you talking about the parts list?
i think that is what he means
He is talking about on each piece, there is a code. You need those to get pieces that are lost or missing and order them
Help, we have lost our instructions and cannot complete the Mission Build!. is there a website we can go for Step by Step?
