Way back in 2013, NECA announced that they had acquired a license to produce Halo collectibles, including a Master Chief motorcycle helmet. We didn’t hear anything much about the Halo Motorcycle Helmet until last fall, when an unpainted prototype was displayed at New York Comic Con 2015. But at the biggest toy event of the year–New York Toy Fair 2015–NECA finally showed off the finished prototype! And almost immediately after, it went up for sale–the NECA Halo Master Chief Motorcycle Helmet is now up for order!

I get motion sickness just from driving a car at the speed limit, so unfortunately, I was just not born to ride a motorcycle. That said, if I were able to ride a motorcycle…? Yeah–this is the DOT-approved modular motorcycle helmet that I’d be wearing while I did it.

Ordinarily I’d rant on and on ad nauseam about the features and specs of whatever Halo collectible I’m talking about, but seeing as how this Master Chief modular motorcycle helmet is just a little bit outside of my area of expertise, I’ll just list off the official product details for this particular Halo motorcycle helmet here instead.

The Master Chief Halo Motorcycle Helmet is now available for order, and is expected to arrive in July 2015. This is a very expensive item, but also a unique one that I don’t expect to ever see offered again, so I’m really curious to see how quickly the NECA Master Chief Motorcycle Helmet sells out.
