Halo Mega Bloks Foxtrot Series Figures Revealed & Photo!

New York Toy Fair 2016 was perhaps the most disappointing Toy Fair ever for Halo toy news, as Mattel obtaining the Halo master license meant nothing new being shown from any manufacturer except for Mattel and Dark Horse. But while news has been slow so Mattel’s Halo acquisition, something worthwhile leaked out today: the blind bag packaging revealed Halo Mega Bloks Foxtrot Series figures!

I know many readers were disappointed with the (lack of) coverage of Halo Mega Bloks from the 2016 Toy Fair. Believe me, I have heard you. Even so, MEGA Brands only showed off a few items at the event, and all of them had been previously revealed in press releases.

It’s not that I didn’t want to talk about the new 2016 Mega Bloks Halo  stuff that got revealed at Toy Fair–it’s that there was none. Sorry. When MEGA Brands does better for us, I’ll talk about it.

…And speaking of which! I have no doubt that Mattel won’t be thrilled about us seeing it, but what’s done is done, and a photo of the Halo Mega Bloks Series Foxtrot figures packaging has leaked out into the web this week!

While we won’t know the rarity scale or the mystery figures for a while yet, we can now confirm that the series is made up of the following new figures:

  • Blue Aviator Spartan
  • Green Copperhead Spartan
  • Red Spartan Mark IV
  • Orange JFO Spartan
  • Active Camo Spartan (Carter?)
  • Gold Drone
  • White Storm Grunt
  • Orange Elite Zealot

I can’t make out the AC Spartan clearly, but I believe that it’s the Carter mold from 2014.

Halo Mega Bloks Foxtrot Series Figures PackagingOverall, I find this to be a rather so-so series. I am overjoyed to see a blind-bagged Covenant Drone, but it’s a bit stunning that MEGA chose the Golden Drone for these packs, as we only see one in-game, rendering it less than army buildable. Even so, the Drone is still by far the most exciting thing in this blind bag series (such as it is).

In addition, we’ve had an Orange JFO Spartan before and the Orange Elite Zealot mold still isn’t accurate. On the bright side, at least that Spartan JFO comes with a Battle Rifle. Can always use more of those!

  1. Finally, a Mk. IV with the new articulation! I hope there are some campaign sets with this figure.

    • There will be. Red Team from Halo Wars 2 appears to be coming with that GI Joe Rolling Thunder lookalike Super Gun vehicle, or at least one of Red Team.

    • Yes!!! Yet another JFO and Aviator! (sarcasm). And it looks like Copperhead will be the new Oceanic / Gungnir / Aviator / Enforcer for a while. Already on our 3rd one (w/Vale). It’s weird to me how much they use some molds. Why can’t we get another Mark V Operator? Mark V(b)?

      I’d really, REALLY also like a Spartan CIO (Super-Articulated) to take the place of the old one that came with the REAP-X Siege Bike.

      Oh well, there’s always the next blind pack. And the next….

      • Edit: I forgot we ARE getting Mark V(b) in Echo. Orange. Pretty soon we’ll have every Mark V Reach variant in orange.

          • I had echo for over a mo the in NJ, and so have many people in most other states (seen on mega bloks worldwide group on Facebook). No Foxtrot by me yet

  4. It could just be the graphics/quality of the image, but is that red spartan holding some kind of new energy sword?

  5. I think the Aviator might be purple. There’s a blue Aviator in the VS pack, so another one here seems weird. Looks purplish in the posted image. Someone at Mega Bloks loves the color orange, as this wave will be the 4th in a row with an orange Spartan. How about some more steel ones? Or black?

    • The JFO is yellow and the Red Vs Blue Rare figures make lots of sense to fans that actually play the Game,I think they’re a good choice…..

  7. Not an amazing line up i’ll be honest, kinda sick of aviators now.. But the zealot, mark V red guy and the drone are pretty awesome. That new BR looks pretty tight too.

For some reason I end up with good luck on my first pack like in series 8 I end up getting rare air assault Spartan, Charlie series I get rare UNSC pilot, bravo series I get common halo 2 marine with jfo Spartan secret rare(gummy) figure, delta series I get ultra rare flood infected Spartan, and then foxtrot series. I found a few foxtrot packs at Walmart in American canyon, California. I bought a pack but it felt different. So when I opened it I ended up getting the common green copperhead Spartan with the secret rare master chief statue. If you don’t know what it looks like( spoilers at any chance), it looks similar to an actual statue by the coloring with halo 5 version armor and what also surprised me was the new halo 5 assault rifle model. It is smaller than all the regular assault rifles though. What had me surprised was the cracks on the gun which made it look fantastic. Note: the ultra rare active Camo Spartan isn’t carter it’s a regular Spartan commando with a DMR.

      • I know though he has same shoulders as Carter but not all figures are the same as main characters in halo. I play halo. I play halo reach. It’s not Carter plus if that was Carter I think it would have a much more higher rarity.

  13. Found Foxtrot at Target today. Got the Mk IV with an A22036ES code and an Aviator with A21036ES.

  17. 1: green copperhead Spartan should have a male body instead of a female body for once
    2: I know it’s fun to have another halo5 br but I don’t think it fits in with a halo reach Spartan.
    3: grunt is fine.
    4: why didn’t they have drones by the time the UNSC fire base came out.
    5: didn’t I hear the elite zealot had something horrible about it?
    6: on the cover of the series the aviator Spartan is holding the SMG
    7: they should make a Kelly Spartan-II model sometime
    8: the AC commando Spartan is not Carter
    9: the master chief statue is great

  21. I don’t think that’s a good trade but at least u tried. I think a better trade would be series 1-6 for an AC arbiter, AC commando,AC White infected flood Spartan and maybe a master chief statue, since I have one

  23. No buddy. I’ll give the statue and the AC commando for the purple echo. And thanks for advice, but keep it to yourself. I’ve been making trades here since series 4.
