Kotobukiya Halo Master Chief ARTFX Statue Photos Revealed!

For Halo collectors, 2014 has pretty much been the pits. We’re currently in what is unarguably the darkest and slowest period for Halo figures and toys in the last half-decade. MEGA Brands has been eerily quiet since the 2014 Toy Fair with no real exclusives to speak of this spring, and the McFarlane Halo figure line is all but dead. Thankfully, it’s not all gloom, though. Japanese company Kotobukiya is coming back to Halo in 2014, and today they fully-revealed the Kotobukiya Halo Master Chief ARTFX statue!

UPDATE: The Kotobukiya Master Chief statue is now up for order with free shipping!

Kotobukiya has decided to return to Halo in a big way–starting with a big statue! Not to be confused with their popular line of $50-$70 ARTFX+ statues, this is a 1/6th scale Halo Master Chief ARTFX statue. Basically, that means that it’ll be significantly larger (and more expensive) than your typical ARTFX+ statue.

From top to bottom, this Halo Master Chief Kotobukiya statue is going to be about 12″ tall (and likely to be less than half the price of the Sideshow Master Chief Premium Format Figure!).

Back of Kotobukiya ARTFX Halo Master Chief StatueAlthough this is technically a statue, that doesn’t mean that Kotobukiya has designed this ARTFX Halo Master Chief statue to be totally static. In fact, they’re actually building limited articulation into the Master Chief’s waist and neck, so that he’ll be able to take on a few difference poses while trotting down the Covenant ramp.

  1. Looks really great! Would be great if Kotobukija or another company can also produce some Covenant statues to bring some variety into the statue family!

  2. That ramp is not covenant. Its forerunner, it looks mostly like what you would find on the map Haven.
