Yesterday I posted my first Halo figure review in a long, long time–the McFarlane Toys Jul ‘Mdama figure. But while Jul is the only character in the set never released as a toy before, he’s not the only new Halo 4 figure I ordered online! After being spoiled by the Play Arts Kai Sarah Palmer figure two years ago, how does the McFarlane Sarah Palmer figure stack up…?

It’s been well over a year since I’ve had some new McFarlane Toys Halo figures to review, but the day I wasn’t sure would ever come finally has! The distribution on Halo 4 Series 3 hasn’t been the best, but after ordering Jul ‘Mdama for $14 shipped online, the Didact’s Hand is now in the house! But should this McFarlane Jul ‘Mdama figure be in your house too? Read on for my review…

Well, well–it certainly has been a while, hasn’t it? I can’t remember a drought of Halo toy news this bad since the Halo Mega Bloks and Halo McFarlane Toys lines kicked into high gear over half a decade ago. Luckily, … Continue Reading →

Spartan Thorne has been a busy man lately! Despite only having a minor role in the Halo 4 video game, we’ve gotten a Spartan Thorne Mega Bloks figure, a Sprukits Thorne figure, and a McFarlane Toys Spartan Gabriel Thorne coming … Continue Reading →
If I said I wasn’t getting a little impatient waiting for the first NECA Halo figure to arrive, I would be totally lying. It was still 2013 when NECA announced their acquisition of the Halo license, and we got our first glimpse of the NECA 18″ Master Chief figure prototype way back at the New York Toy Fair 2014 in February. Retailers started taking orders with an estimated summer release date, but that just didn’t happen. But finally–finally–the Master Chief is coming home! Place your orders now if you haven’t done so already–the NECA Halo Master Chief 18″ figure is expected to hit online stores in October 2014!
Continue Reading →Hell has officially frozen over, Halo collectors. After over a year with zero new figure releases, today McFarlane Toys announced that in February 2015 Halo 4 Series 3 will be released. And not only is the long-demanded series of figures coming–it’s bringing us perhaps the three most fan-demanded characters from the game: Halo 4 Series 3 Jul Mdama, Commander Sarah Palmer and Spartan Thorne are now up for order!
Continue Reading →Just when I think I’ve seen every single one of the Fall 2014 Hall Mega Bloks sets, another one (or in this case, four) items show up that I’d forgotten about! While picking up some early Halloween candy at Target (who can resist Reese’s Pumpkins?), I ran across several boxes of a quartet of new Mega Bloks Halo sets that haven’t gotten a whole lot of fanfare: The Halo Mega Bloks Metallic Drop Pods Series 2 are now in stores!
Continue Reading →I’d been hunting locally for new Halo Mega Bloks sets to no avail, but this week I lucked out when the Summer 2014 Halo Mega Bloks UNSC Broadsword 97380 was briefly available online for the sale price of $53 shipped. … Continue Reading →
It’s been a slow news week for Halo toys collectors (though with plenty of news on Halo 4 video game store exclusives!), so I’m stepping back today to talk about a toy that debuted before Christmas: the Halo Mega Bloks … Continue Reading →
Over the weekend I took a look at the newly-released Halo Minimates Series 4 Toys R Us exclusive Arbiter (Ripa ‘Moramee) and Prophet of Mercy two-pack, and today I’ve got the other Covenant set from Series 4 Halo: the all-new … Continue Reading →
