Team Blue Halo Mega Bloks Target Collector’s Edition Pack Revealed!

I thought we had now seen every single one of the Halo Mega Bloks Summer 2013 sets, but it seems there was one left that slipped through the cracks! The Target website listed their new exclusive sets over the weekend (photos and text only–none of them are actually available for purchase yet), and there was one new item listed we hadn’t seen before: a Halo Mega Bloks Team Blue Collector’s Edition Pack of 8 exclusive figures!

The newly-revealed Halo Mega Bloks Collector’s Edition Pack figures all look to be based upon designs from Halo Reach. The set includes three all-new Gold Spartans, an Active Camo Air Assault Spartan, a blue Grunt, a Silver Elite General, a Team Blue Elite Pilot and a Team Blue Elite Ascetic. The blue visors on the Spartans look a little bit funky with the gold armor, but otherwise this is a nice looking set–especially for just $20. It’s a much better deal than the other two Target Team Blue exclusives. And speaking of which…

Team Blue Target Exclusive Halo Mega Bloks Figure Pack Set Target has also listed the two Team Blue exclusive vehicles on their site now that we reported on last week. They’re not currently available, but we can see the prices, which are more than a little bit unflattering.

$24.99 for the Blue Rockethog, Target? And $19.99 for a Blue Banshee repaint of a vehicle no one would buy for $10-$13? No thank you, Target! Ordinarily Target prices their Mega Bloks Halo exclusives fairly, but this apparently isn’t one of those times.

Halo Mega Bloks Blue Rockethog Target Exclusive Team BlueIf I buy either of the Mega Bloks Halo Team Blue Vehicle sets, it’s going to be strictly off of the clearance rack that they’ll inevitably hit. Sometimes Target has some really nice exclusives, but these are unimaginative, weird looking and overpriced. Not a good combination at all. Compared to the actual new Summer 2013 Halo Mega Bloks sets, these exclusives are pretty weak.

Look for the Target Exclusive Halo Mega Bloks Team Blue Rockethog, Banshee, and Collector’s Edition Figure Packs to hit Target stores sometime in July 2013.   1. Love it I’m glad they added an elite general but why is the grunt armed with a plasma rifle I’ve never seen one with one

    • McFarlane liked to equip Plasma Rifles with lots of their Grunts as well. Maybe the Covenant arm their Grunts better than we thought? =D

            Anyway, it’s the Target website, but like I said, the set isn’t available for purchase yet.

  2. minor correction: the Team Blue Elite Pilot and Team Blue Elite Ascetic come with the Banshee I believe. The Collector’s Edition Pack has 2 blue Combat Elites.

  4. so let me get this straight, 2 gold Spartans with blue visors, what in the blue h3ll is Mega Bloks thinking? If Mega Bloks had a brain, they would have chosen black visors!

  5. I love this set for all except the blue visors. I was looking forward to the rockethog, but for $25?! I don’t think so…

  6. actually the collectors addition comes with 2 commando elites and I thought the blue banshee came with a elite ultra guess I should look more closely or I’m starting to get confused of the name ranks of elites

I kinda like the blue wharthog because it comes with a couple of reach Spartans and I like the blue paint on it too. but for sure I’m buying this so I can put the silver torso on my arbiter so he can have a body(brother mindlessly stepped on it) but yahoo I found this on target.com and I was really really excited!

  8. What armor permutation is the active camo spartan? It looks like air assault.

  10. I don’t mind the blue visors on the gold Spartans that much also I think the blue rocket hog isn’t that bad of deal for 20 25 dollars but the banshee is and yes the active cammo spartan is an air assault or maybe a recon
