Toy Fair 2014: Halo Mega Bloks Emile & Mongoose Photos Preview!

One of the biggest releases of the year for MEGA Brands turns out to be one of the smallest sets of the year: the Halo Mega Bloks UNSC All-Terrain Mongoose just revealed at the New York Toy Fair 2014! Of course, it’s not the Mega Bloks Mongoose itself that’s a big deal–it’s the figure it comes with! Coming Summer 2014–Halo Mega Bloks Emile Figure with the All-Terrain Mongoose 97339!

Halo Mega Bloks Emile & UNSC Mongoose Revealed Toy Fair 2014There are some things I never thought we’d see in the Halo Mega Bloks line, and a Mega Bloks Halo Emile figure is one of them. With his highly-customized and unique armor, I just couldn’t see MEGA Brands putting together a lookalike figure that could pass as Emile. But with MEGA Brands now bringing in more named characters as part of Halo Mega Bloks lineup in 2014, that’s a moot point. The most popular member of the Halo Reach Noble Squad, Emile, will arrive in July/August 2014!

2014 New York Toy Fair Mega Bloks Halo UNSC All-Terrain Mongoose & Emile Figure The Emile Mega Bloks action figure looks downright awesome, and is one of the best-looking Spartans figures that MEGA Brands has ever released (if not the single best-looking figure)! Emile will include his trademark Kukri knife and M45 Tactical Shotgun. Emile really is a beautiful figure, and I’m glad that he’ll come on the new super-poseable Halo figures body debuting later this year.

Halo Mega Bloks 97339 will also, of course, include a UNSC All-Terrain Mongoose Mega Bloks vehicle. It’s a nice-looking green Mongoose and we can always use more of those, but there’s no question Emile is the star and selling point of this set.

The set will include 90 pieces and retail for around $14.99.   1. I don’t get this “Super Posable” thing. From the looks of it, the articulation is the same as all other Mega Bloks figures.

    Take a closer look at the elbows alexander – looks like there ball jointed for starters, guessing the other joints have upgrades or are refined for better movement.

  3. I’m assuming that a wash will be added to the red shoulderpad to bring out detail and the wite stripe will also be added, but overall this is THE BEST MEGA BLOKS HALO SET….. wait for it…… EVER!!!!!!

  4. I’m actually really excited for the new mongoose. It is a hundred times more detailed than the old ones.

  9. Good to see the UNSC is getting a lot of hero figs maybe at the end of this year or next we’ll get heroes for factions like Tartarus, Field Marshal from Halo: Reach, 343 Guilty Spark, or more awesome the Gravemind.

  10. go on Facebook and check out the thing that you want to see for 2014 i put in Emile, Jun and Carter is it that COOL i for the first time got to do that and the reason why i could not do that is because there is to much people doing it so i think i should get that mongoose. YAY

  12. don’t get me wrong a new mongoose and emile is a great set idea but I must complain a little, where do we put the combat knife is there a shoulder holster? I hope so and I personally liked the old mongoose variant better, and could we get an enemy in this?
