MEGA Brands launched an all-new line of smaller-sized Halo Mega Bloks builds early this year–the Halo Mega Bloks Micro-Fleet. The theme began with three sets: a Micro-Fleet Mantis, a Micro-Fleet Warthog and a Micro-Fleet Hornet. That trio includes some of the most popular and iconic Halo vehicles–and in Summer/Fall 2014, they’ll be joined by one new addition: the Halo Mega Bloks Micro-Fleet Falcon 97341!

When the UNSC Falcon debuted in the Halo: Reach video game, Halo fans immediately fell in love with it. And when MEGA Brands released their first Halo Mega Bloks UNSC Falcon with Landing Pad (and not-Kat figure!), it was a best-selling set that went on to be one of the most expensive Mega Bloks Halo sets on the aftermarket. Since then it’s returned as a cool black Flood Hunters black Falcon and a European-only Blue Series Falcon, but this summer we’ll be able to own a Falcon Mega Bloks build like none before it–a Micro-Fleet UNSC Falcon!

This UNSC Falcon Micro Fleet Mega Bloks vehicle has a simplistic elegance to it aesthetically that I think really works. This is probably my favorite of the initial quartet of Mega Bloks Halo Micro-Fleet vehicles, and I think collectors who give this set a chance are going to find themselves having a lot of fun with this little aerial Mega Bloks Falcon.

In addition to the Micro Fleet UNSC Falcon, the set will also include a terrain base plate, a Covenant turret and a blue Spartan Mark VI Halo Mega Bloks figure with a Sniper Rifle. Mega Bloks Sniper Rifles are always in-demand, and plenty of fans will want to snap up this set for the improved articulation and swappable armor on the new-style blue Mark VI Spartan figure.

Given that the first three Micro-Fleet Halo Mega Bloks sets came in Spartan helmets colored green, red, and steel/silver, you can probably guess that color the fourth helmet will be. That’s right, the USC Falcon Micro-Fleet set comes in its own iconic blue Spartan helmet! I think that’s it’s sort of fitting for the Micro Falcon to come in a blue helmet, since so many collectors long for the international exclusive Blue Series Falcon!

The Mega Bloks Halo Micro Fleet Falcon 97341 (with Blue Spartan Mark VI helmet) is scheduled to be released in July/August 2014. The set will contain 70 pieces and is expected to retail for about $14.99.
